Senior Project Manager - Texas Transportation Group

GBA is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Texas Transportation Group. This position entails project management and a lead role for delivering design projects for TxDOT statewide. The ideal person will offer expertise, provide guidance to team members, and lead by example. Strong ethical standards and a desire to help others progress in their career will be key. Responsibilities:

• Serve as Project Manager for key pursuits, lead pursuit planning, and coordinate closely with our leadership team to help set strategic goals for growth.
• Manage all aspects of Schematic Development and Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E) preparation of highway and bridge projects.
• Build project teams and provide staff management and hands-on expertise to facilitate the design of complex transportation engineering projects with a multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and establish new client relationships.
• Develop and maintain strong internal working relationships across all lines of our business
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related
• Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas
• 10+ years of experience in design, plan development, and project delivery
• 2 years minimum, 5+ year preferred, of experience in project and staff management
• Experience winning and delivering projects for TxDOT
• TxDOT Pre-Certifications
• Experience with OpenRoads and OpenBridge Designer
• Experience with Business Development/Client Relations
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels, internally and externally
