We're looking for a Roadway Project Manager to join our Transportation Group in Chesterfield, Missouri. This position entails a lead design role for transportation projects, including planning and corridor studies, street and highway design, roadway infrastructure rehabilitation, bike and pedestrian facility design, ADA compliance, and complex interchanges. The ideal candidate will bring IDOT design expertise, though MoDOT experience will also be strongly considered.

What You'll Do

As a Roadway Project Manager, you'll:

• Lead design on transportation engineering projects including expansion, reconstruction, or rehabilitation of intersections, streets, arterials, rural roadways, trails, and sidewalks.
• Analyze reports, maps, drawings, conduct site visits, and review survey data to develop construction documents.
• Conduct preliminary engineering evaluations and studies to identify design alternatives and make recommendations.
• Prepare project quantities and cost estimates.
• Ensure project quality in accordance with QA/QC guidelines.
• Provide hands-on expertise and contribute to complex, multidisciplinary projects.
• Coach and mentor junior staff and support their career development.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Fundamentals of Engineering Certificate required; PE license in Illinois or Missouri preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in project design and plan development; DOT experience preferred.
• Experience with MicroStation and Bentley's OpenRoads Designer (ORD).
• Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices.
• Ability to lead design tasks across a variety of transportation project types.
• Strong time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and local policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
