We’re looking for a Civil Engineer, E.I.T. to join our Transportation Group at our headquarters in Lenexa, Kansas. This position will support roadway engineering design across municipal projects in Kansas, Missouri, and Texas, working with a multi-disciplined team.

What You’ll Do

As a Civil Engineer, E.I.T., you’ll:

• Assist with geometric design and 3D modeling, including intersection and interchange design.
• Support evaluation and design of multi-modal facilities and corridors (automobile, pedestrian, bicycle, transit, freight) from planning through final design.
• Contribute to roadside safety evaluation and design.
• Perform basic hydrology and hydraulic design, including cross-road structures and enclosed storm sewers.
• Develop construction sequencing, traffic control plans, and erosion control plans.
• Assist with quantity development, cost estimation, specification review, and QA/QC.
• Participate in field visits and utility coordination.

What You Bring

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• 0–2 years of experience.
• Experience using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with the following software is a plus: Synchro / SimTraffic, VISSIM, RSAP, HSM, AutoTurn, HY-8, HEC-RAS, Revu or Adobe.
